Kristiansand’s tour begins in Gjestehavnen near the city centre, and the fishing jetty. Arendal’s tour starts from our base at Hove Leir on Tromøya. On both trips, you get all the necessary equipment and clothing, and an introduction to the safe and secure use of the kayak. The guide demonstrates kayak technique, and gives you time to practice before the trip starts. The kayak trips follow the coastline and make stops at interesting places and islands along the way. The tours are adapted to weather and wind conditions, and the guide will tell about local history, nature and wildlife along the way. We will see beaches, cliffs and not least the local lighthouses.
